The 4 phases of the menstrual cycle - Phase 1

Phase 1 - Spring.

The Follicular Phase 🌱

This phase starts the day after our period stops and lasts for about 7 to 10 days.

Hormonally at this time, our egg follicles start to get bigger and our oestrogen increases. Our body is preparing to host and release an egg.

Our physical energy increases, and we may feel a little bit restless.

This phase is all about creativity and new beginnings. It's a really good time to start new projects at work and at home.

We may also feel more than likely that we want to be social at this time.

The Follicular phase is a good time of the month to try out new exercises or workouts.

During this phase, we are forming lots of new neural connections in our brain really easily.
