Find the Class That Fits You
Thank you so much for your interest in practising with me. I’m always so happy to welcome new faces and familiar ones returning into our community. Whether you’re taking your very first step onto the mat, looking to deepen your practice, or simply carving out some time to rest and reconnect, there’s a space here for you.
Each of my classes offers something a little different, from gentle restorative sessions to more intuitive flowing practices, so you can find the one that meets you exactly where you are on your journey. I’ve put together some common questions below to help you decide which class might feel like the right fit
Q: Which class should I join if I’m new to yoga?
Q: I have physical limitations, injuries, or mobility issues — can I still participate?
A: Yes. I offer adaptations and options for many postures so you can practice safely in line with your body’s needs. Always inform me in advance about any injuries or constraints, so I can tailor guidance during class..
A: Not at all. The practices are gentle and accessible, with options to go deeper if you’re more experienced. The emphasis is on tuning into your body, not forcing movement.
Q: Do I need to be flexible or strong already to attend?
If you’re still unsure which class is right for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m always happy to chat and help you find the best place to begin.
I hope to see you in practice soon.

A: If you’re new to yoga or returning after a long break, Yoga for Stress Relief is a great starting point. It’s beginner-friendly and focuses on gentle, grounding practices to calm the body and mind (rooted in Yin, Somatics, etc.).
Q: What is “Embodied Awakening / Yoga & Somatic Movement”?
A: This class is a more fluid, intuitive practice combining yoga, somatic movement, mindfulness, intuitive flow, stillness, and soundscapes. It’s suited for people who want more depth, movement, and internal exploration than a purely restorative or slow class.
Q: Do I have to commit to a multi-week course? Or can I drop in?
A: It depends on the class. Some classes (like “Embodied Awakening”) run in 6-week courses. Others (for example the Friday drop-in class in New Mills) allow drop-ins or booking via a class pass.
Q: What do I bring / what should I wear?
A: Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move in. Bring a yoga mat, a blanket or cushion if you like extra comfort, and water. If you don’t have a mat or props, just ask I often have spare mats and bolsters.
