🌿 Yoga isn’t an escape from life - it’s a way back into it

Yoga brings us home. So what does that mean to you?

In a world which is busy, distracted and often so full on, it’s easy to crave the same thing from a yoga practice - speed, achievement and escapism.

What I offer is a practice which is about slowing down enough to actually feel what’s going on inside. This is what I believe the world needs more of, a space which everyone has where they get to pause, process, integrate, and move into presence. To take this off the mat too.

This can help us to remember what we have lost. But often what you think is lost is always there to be remembered.

A yoga practice can be uncomfortable. But over and over again we get to rise in our messiness to really live life from what is true. Not from the stories that society feeds us.

So I invite you to come home to your body, notice your breath, and find a bit of stillness in class with me.

We move, we rest often, and there’s always space to adapt or just be. You don’t need to be flexible or know what you’re doing - just bring yourself.

All classes are informed by my 500+ hours in yoga teaching and in therapy. Including in Chinese Medicine, somatics principles, embodiment and Body Mind Centering. Plus non-dual tantra philosophy.
